Thanks to the generous community donations and support and with the help of
our wonderful volunteers and WNEP TV, WBRE TV and the Pocono Record, AWSOM
has adopted over 215 animals to their forever homes in 14 weeks.

Smooch a Pooch at participating local veterinarian offices (see list below).1. Purchase a Smooch for $1, $5, or $10
2. Place your animals name on the lips and stick it to the "Smooch a Pooch" board at the vets office.
All proceeds from this event go DIRECTLY towards medical expenses to help our sick shelter animals.

June - The First Ever AWSOM Bike Ride - GIMME Shelter Poker Run - Riders and volunteers needed!
baking drop off in the am or night before for the
riders to have a snack @ registration.
volunteers for the poker draw @ each
location 3 stops 2 people in Dingmans @ Side Street Pub 11:30- 1:30 or 2 pm
2 people @ Tom X 12-2
2 people @ My Place (Mullers) 12-2
At least 4 @ Petrizzo's 2 or more in the AM for registration, first card draw and set up
2 in the afternoon 2-6 for final poker draw, poker tally, 50-50 ticket sales ect.
We have guys to man the doghouse.
Janet is the goddess of tricky tray set up but could use a hand.
